Last Monday, around 13,000 people in Brandenburg demonstrated against government policy, the police headquarters announced on Tuesday afternoon. Officials registered 46 gatherings across the country, seven more than the previous week.

The largest parade took place with around 1800 participants in the AfD stronghold of Cottbus.

The RBB radio station “Annea Brandenburg” spoke of 80 Monday demos on Tuesday morning, triggering displeasure in the Potsdam police headquarters. The RBB Inforadio also spread the number.

“That’s grossly wrong,” said a police spokesman when asked about the BZ

It remains a mystery why the Berlin scandal broadcaster gives the protests with left-wing and right-wing extremists a lot of space in its program.

On Monday evening, the RBB main news program “Brandenburg Aktuell” broadcast a TV report from the Monday demonstration in Frankfurt (Oder) and interviewed an RBB editor about it.
