3rd League: Dynamo Dresden signs Niklas Hauptmann for the long term

Dresden top performers

Dynamo Dresden has extended Niklas Hauptmann’s contract, which originally expired at the end of the season, for the long term. The 27-year-old midfielder signed a new working paper until June 30, 2028. Hauptmann returned to his youth club from 1. FC Köln in the summer of 2022 and has since played 40 games for the SGD, in which he was directly involved in ten goals.

“We are very happy to have secured an absolute top performer in Niklas. Since his return to Dynamo, he has repeatedly demonstrated his importance and ability as an experienced player for the team. Niklas is an important building block in our further planning and we want to be successful together in the long term,” said sports director Ralf Becker.
