Marco Hiller leaves TSV 1860 Munich after a total of 17 years at the end of the season. The stammer goalkeeper will not extend its expiring contract. In eight seasons for the 1860 professionals, Hiller played 275 games, only five players have more missions for the Munich lions. The 28-year-old is said to have considered a change to a higher-class league or abroad.
“I have spent more than half my life at TSV 1860 Munich. In the past 17 years I have experienced almost all the ups and downs of an athlete, but also found friends for life. Many thanks to everyone who supported me in this way, to teammates, coaches, employees and especially the loyal lion fans who make this club so great. Memories, ”said Hiller.
