Setback in the fight for the playoffs! After five wins in a row, the Eisbären lost 3:4 after extra time against the Kölner Haie in front of 13,828 fans in the MB Arena.

Key scorer: Bailen (64). Eisbären goals: Mauer (17th), Noebels (22nd), Fiore (35th). Goals conceded in regular time: McIntyre (9′), Ferraro (34′). and Olver (45.) In the extra time, Cologne made the victory clear.

Overall not a good game by the polar bears. Many chances are missed at the front and the Berliners make careless mistakes when defending. Often the puck is held for far too long.

Overall, this one point won in the fight for the playoffs (from 10th place) is not enough. Sunday (3.30 p.m.) we go to the direct competitor Iserlohn.
