For the world champion, the day of German unity was no less than his job. After a turbulent game, he can continue. Meanwhile, the SCP jumps to first place.

Nuremberg’s leadership in front of 38,204 fans by Rafael Lubach (25th) compensated for Fortuna’s anouar el Azzouzi after the break (67th). It was the first home gate overprocke for the Fortunes this season. After that, a wild final phase developed.

At first, referee Haslberger took back a foul penalty for Nuremberg, before he justifiably issued a handicraft for the guests a few minutes later. Julian Justvan safely converted (80th), but the new leadership did not last long. Christian Rasmussen equalized for the home team for three minutes. But Finn Becker, who met for victory (85.) and thus probably saved his coach’s job.

“Brutally intense, brutally alternating as far as emotions are concerned. But the team shows morality. I am incredibly happy,” said Klose at Sky. He was ready after the game. “I will soon need a pacemaker.”

For Klose colleague Daniel Thioune, on the other hand, it was a setback just a week after the 1-0 win at VfL Bochum. Unclear whether the 51-year-old can continue as a Fortuna coach after the upcoming international break.

In the parallel game, the SC Paderborn prevailed 2-1 at Eintracht Braunschweig after an also gripping final phase and at least temporarily jumps to the top of the table.

Some of the 21,349 spectators in the Eintracht Stadium were not yet in their seats when Filip Bilbija brought the favorite to the lead after an exemplary flank by Sebastian Klaas after 30 seconds.

The guest eleven, which was unchanged in comparison to the 2: 0 against the 1. FC Kaiserslautern, then acted dominant in possession of the ball, but promising opportunities were in short supply for a long time-until the American Santiago Castaneda headed for a supposed 2: 0, but player Steffen Tigges was slightly offside (52.). So the game remained open, Levente Szabó (86th) achieved the equalization – but Paderborn’s Joker Stefano Marino hit the away win (88th) just 124 seconds later.

The East Westphalia celebrated the fourth victory in a series and climbed at the start of the 8th match day with 17 points from fifth to one. The Braunschweig crash continues in series after the fourth defeat.
