The cabinet is failing with the intention to regulate access to some sectors via the 2G policy. Following the example of the ChristenUnie and GroenLinks, the PvdA also supports a motion calling on the cabinet to withdraw the 2G plan. This means that a majority for that motion is almost certain when voting on Thursday.
