2,250 cuddly toys for the children’s department of hospital Emmen

The nursing team of the children’s ward of the Scheper Hospital of Treant in Emmen was overloaded with a load of hugs today.

These are intended to provide comfort to children when they are admitted or undergoing treatment. The Emmer Middenstand Foundation donated 2,250 monkeys, giraffes and rhinoceroses to the staff.

According to the foundation, it has already been shown in the past that young patients experienced great pleasure and comfort from the stuffed animals, which they can take home when they leave the hospital.
