The idea has historical roots. In the past, a horse race used to run right through the café. Today it was not horses, but mopeds that entered the café from Tuileboomstraat.
“They drive up one by one, straight through the café,” says café owner Filiep Louage. “They then park in the parking lot, have a drink and leave again for their local in Sente, De Groene Dreve.”
