The 1. FC Kaiserslautern shot on a promotion zone of the 2nd Bundesliga and fell into the sporting crisis deeper. The team of coach Markus Beginning won 1-0 (0-0) in the Berlin Olympic Stadium and temporarily improved to second place – tied with leader HSV. The capital club, which started with promotion, comes closer and closer to the relegation zone and stayed again at home.
