Home curse finished: Beadlers 1. FC Köln stumbled in Magdeburg
Leaders 1. FC Köln fell into stumbling after three victories after three victories. At the low -home 1st FC Magdeburg, the Rhinelanders lost 0: 3 (0: 0). Daniel Heber (73rd minute) met in front of 27,055 fans in the sold-out AVNET-Arena to lead the home team. Mohammed El Hankouri (79th) increased, Samuel Loric (90.+2) provided the final score.
With this, the FCM pushed up to Cologne except for two points and is tied behind Hamburger SV third. The Magdeburgers ended their home misery, they remained in front of their own audience across the season without winning. The last home win was achieved on February 24, 2024.
The Cologne team around coach Gerhard Struber came into the game well, dominated and had control over the game, especially in midfield. A hit by Magdeburg’s Alexander Ahl-Holmström (18th) did not count because of an offside position.
After the change, the game had to be briefly interrupted in the 50th minute after burning pyrotechnics from the FCM warehouse because the view was insufficient. In the final phase, Magdeburg then exploited his chances: Heber used a free kick from Baris Atik. El Hankouri dusted off, Loric finally made the decision.
Flour and viewed securing Paderborner victory against Prussia Münster
SC Paderborn fought for the fifth place in the table with a lot of effort and two late goals. The SCP won 2-0 (0-0) on Friday evening against promoted Prussia Münster.
Marvin Mehlem (81st) and substitute Ilyas looked at (84th) before 14,534 fans in the Paderborner Arena scored the goals and secured her team the first home success since the end of November. With 37 points from 22 games, the team of coach Lukas Kwasniok initially passed Fortuna Düsseldorf, who plays against Hertha BSC on Saturday. Münster, on the other hand, stays winless in the fifth game in series and can slip on the relegation rank on Saturday.

In contrast to the wild 3: 3 in the first leg, the audience in the Paderborn Arena received little spectacular for a long time. Both teams showed little willingness to take the risk, especially in the first half, playfully neither creatively nor productive.
The second half started all the more lively. With its post hit, flour caused the necessary wake -up call immediately after the restart (48th). From then on, the long disappointing Paderborns looked more imperative and made the ultimately deserved victory with a double pack within three minutes.
