Hamburger SV is one of the largest clubs in Germany. In the New sticker on T-Online you will find all the important messages about the “red pants”.
While the HSV professionals are still looking for their shape, the “Rotheters” show how to win games: The U19 of Hamburger won the Nordderby at Werder Bremen on Sunday. It was already 3-0 for the HSV during the break, and in the end it was a 4-2 away win.
The goals for the HSV-A youth at the competitive premiere of the new coach Oliver Krause scored Jonas Hartig (11th), Kilian Machado (17th), Olamide Medaiyese (42.) and Ismaila Djamanca (72nd). For Werder Bremen, Paul Erevbenagie (51.) and Kevin Manthey (83.) shortened.
The HSV-U19, which had play-free DFB on the 1st matchday in group A, is now in 3rd place with the opening win. At the end of the season, the best three clubs qualify for league A, in which the German A-youth champions are then played out together with the participants from groups B to I.
The HSV defeat series continues in preparation: In Mallorca, the Hamburgers lost 0: 2 (0: 1) to the RCD Mallorca. It was the fifth bankruptcy in a test game in a row.
Ex-Bundesliga professional Takuma Asano put the home side in the lead after 13 minutes. HSV captain placed 2-0 (59.) with a curious own goal. The two best chances for HSV left Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer (39th, 68th). New addition Jordan Torunarigha saw the red card (90th) shortly before the final whistle.
Stamm keeper Daniel Heuer Fernandes and challenger Daniel Peretz argue for the place in the HSV goal. A week before the first competitive game, coach Merlin Polzin made a first decision – namely that the decision will only be made later.
Polzin said in an interview on the club website: “In a clear communication in the goalkeeper team, we discussed that Daniel Peretz against RCD Mallorca and Daniel Heuer Fernandes will be in goal in the DFB Cup in Pirmasens.”
Both goalkeepers should get the chance to prove themselves again over a longer season. Anyone who is in the box at the Bundesliga start in Mönchengladbach (August 24, 5.30 p.m.) only then wants to determine Polzin.
On Saturday evening (8 p.m./DAZN), the team will contest the last test before the competitive start against RCD Mallorca. In the first round of the DFB Cup, HSV will compete on August 16 (1 p.m./Sky) at the top division FK Pirmasens.
