A speed demon has to do without a driver’s license for the time being. The young man (21) drove too fast on the A79 near Valkenburg yesterday. He tore on the road at 175 kilometers per hour, while there is a maximum speed of 100 kilometers per hour. Read more here.

A barn in Maastricht was destroyed by fire this morning. The fire brigade was with several units on the Mergelweg to fight the fire in the shed of 10 by 20 meters. Read more here.

Going for a run is time consuming for a woman. She was met yesterday in Nuth by three boys. The jogger had to hand over her AirPods to the trio under threat of a knife. Read more here.
Limburgers fined for entering dangerous cave
A man from the municipality of Echt-Susteren and a family from Meerssen have been fined because they were illegally in the Kanne caves. Deep in the caves, officers came to a sort of cafe where the violators were. Two men also had drugs in their pockets. Read more here.
