1860 Munich: Maurizio Jacobacci is to become a coach – budget increased

Last worked in Tunisia

After weeks of searching, TSV 1860 Munich has apparently finally found a new coach. Loud “Bild” newspaper Maurizio Jacobacci will succeed Michael Köllner, who was released at the end of January. The 60-year-old Italian will receive a contract until the end of the season.

Jacobacci is supposed to lead the training on Monday and is the top candidate on the investor side around Hasan Ismaik. Previously, the “Southgerman newspaper“ reports that the investors have agreed to a budget increase for a commitment of the desired coach.

The experienced coach worked in Switzerland for many years and most recently coached the French second division club Grenoble Foot 38 and the Tunisian first division club Sportif Sfaxien. The latter officially announced the termination of his contract with Jacobacci last Tuesday.
