18 people who were found to be involved in the field events that took place during the Batman Petrolspor – Elazığspor match on February 11 and afterwards were banned from watching for 1 year.
Batman Petrolspor and Elazığspor drew 1-1 in the TFF 3rd League 2nd Group. After the match played in Batman, a group of fans outside the stadium became violent. The police intervened against the groups with pressurized water and pepper gas.
BATMAN GOVERNORSHIP MADE THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT REGARDING THE ISSUE:
“In the studies carried out by the Batman Police Department Sports Security Branch Directorate regarding the field events that occurred at the beginning, during and after the TPAO Batman Petrol Spor – 3GEN Holding Elazığ Spor football match played at the Yeni Şehir Stadium on February 11, 2024, 6222 Sports “Regardless of whether there is a Law on the Prevention of Violence and Disorder or not, 18 people who were found to be involved in the incidents were sentenced to ‘Prohibition from Traveling for a Year’ and judicial proceedings were initiated against them.”
