A 16-year-old boy was injured last night after he was probably stabbed in the Bomenwijk. A passer-by found him on the Middenweg around 0:30 a.m. and administered first aid.
The boy was found near Stationsweg on Middenweg. After the emergency services took over the care of the passer-by, the Castricummer was transferred to the hospital.
Police have investigated the area, but have not arrested anyone yet. It is not yet clear what the reason was and what exactly happened, so the police are looking for witnesses.
