14 planes with CSTO peacekeepers from Kazakhstan returned to Russia

Aircraft of the Russian Space Forces, which were taking Russian peacekeepers out of Kazakhstan, successfully landed at the Chkalovsky airfield, informs Ministry of Defense on Youtube channel.

“10 military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces Il-76 with Russian peacekeepers from the Collective Peacekeeping Forces of the CSTO (Organization of the Collective Security Treaty. — RBC) arrived from Kazakhstan at the Chkalovsky airfield near Moscow, ”the ministry said in a statement.

The arrivals were greeted with a solemn ceremony. After that, the personnel must begin unloading weapons, property and military equipment, and then go to the point of permanent deployment.

In total, 14 planes with Russian servicemen returned to the country during the night and morning of January 17, reports “RIA News” with reference to the Ministry of Defense.

Earlier, on January 15, ten planes with Russian peacekeepers landed at the airport in Ivanovo.
