00.15 – Woman drives against parked bus and is injured
A woman rode a parked bus around half past ten last night and then ended up with her car on his side. That happened on Witboomstraat in Veen. The woman got stuck in her car and was injured in the accident. The fire brigade had to be involved to free her. She was taken to the hospital with an ambulance. The car was taken by a recovery company.
00.12 – Demonstration against AZC in Uden is going quietly
The demonstration during the information evening about the possible arrival of an asylum seekers center in Uden went smoothly. On the square in front of the Kruisheren Chapel, where the information evening took place, around 150 people demonstrated. The area was declared a safety risk area, which allowed the police to search preventively. At least one person was arrested during the demonstration.
23.15 – Fire in the house, police intervene and have to keep people at bay
At a house fire on Bennekelstraat in Eindhoven, the police had to intervene last night because some residents did not want to leave the house. Some wanted to go back inside, but that was not allowed because of safety.
In the house, fire would have broken out in the meter cupboard, at the hall and the stairs. A lot of smoke was released through the fire, the house was full of smoke. That also applied to the neighbors’ houses.
