There was a shooting at the Diamantdijk in Roosendaal on Sunday evening. At least one person was injured. The victim, a man, was rushed to hospital under police escort. The shooting was reported to police around 6:30 p.m. The area has been cordoned off for investigation. According to a 112 correspondent, several shell casings and a firearm were found.
Shortly after the shooting, the police had sent a Burgernet report with a description of a suspect. “This is not the injured suspect,” emphasizes a police spokesman. We are still looking for this suspect.”
It is not yet clear what exactly happened. Research is being conducted at two cordoned off locations, including with dogs. The police also received help from a helicopter in the search for suspects.
