A fire broke out in a barn on the Slobbegorsedijk in Heijningen. The flames beat the barn. The fire brigade tries to prevent the fire from spreading to the adjacent building. Next to the burning barn is a second barn with agricultural vehicles and on the roof there are solar panels. Black smoke is released during the fire.
The Central and West Brabant Security Region reports that the emergency services suffer from traffic on Slobbegorsedijk and the Elisabethweg: “Stay away from the fire and gives care providers the space.” It is also recommended to close windows and doors with (smoke) nuisance and to switch off ventilation systems.
The fire is under control around eight o’clock. The fire brigade will continue to extinguish in the coming hours.
