A motorist was injured on Antwerpseweg in Rijsbergen last night after his car ended up on its head. This happened after the driver hit a tree at a roundabout around a quarter to five in the morning for unknown reasons. Then it all went wrong and the car ended up on the road upside down.
The driver was taken to hospital, according to a 112 correspondent. Nothing is known about his injuries or their seriousness. The car is heavily damaged. Police are investigating how the accident happened. As far as is known, no other road users were involved in the accident.
