A fire raged at electronics company Carmo Electronics on Berenbroek n Helmond street last night. The fire, which caused a thick layer of smoke in the building, was reported around 2 a.m. The fire brigade was able to extinguish the fire through a hole in the window.
The fire is said to have started in one of the offices. How the fire broke out is under investigation. Electrical parts are repaired at Carmo Electronics and there are also batteries for the automotive and motorcycle industry.
