11 Minutes: New documentary about mass shooting at Las Vegas Country Festival

Paramount+ recently announced a new documentary about the 2017 Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting in Las Vegas. 11 Minutes will be released on Paramount+ on September 27th, the week of the fifth anniversary of the event.

The film is in four parts and includes the first in-depth interview with country music star Jason Aldean. He made his appearance during the tragedy and witnessed the 11-minute mass shooting. Furthermore, statements from concertgoers, emergency traumatologists, first responders, police officers and FBI agents are examined. “11 Minutes” also features footage from 200 hours of cell phone video as well as previously unreleased footage from police cameras.

The October 1, 2017 shooting is the deadliest mass shooting in US history, killing 58 people. To date, the FBI has not identified a clear motive for the mass murder. 11 Minutes was produced and directed by Jeff Zimbalist. A now-deleted trailer showed the SWAT team approaching the shooter’s hotel room at Mandalay Bay, where he committed suicide before being caught. The documentary “The repressed massacre” had already appeared on ZDF in 2021.
