Today the internet consultation on the proposed change of the subsidy scheme for sustainability for associations of owners (SVVE) starts. The aim is to make the scheme more attractive for associations of owners (VVEs), residential associations and residential cooperatives.

In the amended SVVE, improvement proposals from the market parties, VvEs and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) have been incorporated. Everyone can respond to the proposed changes during the internet consultation. This is possible up to and including 18 August 2025. The final arrangement will then be drawn up. This will enter into force on January 1, 2026.

More than € 100 million extra and extension duration

The adjusted regulation includes the following changes:

  • The SVVE is currently running up to and including 2027. The duration is extended to 2030.
  • The subsidy ceiling for sustainability advice, investigations and measures is being raised from more than € 76 million to € 179 million.
  • The limit of a maximum of € 2.5 million subsidy per association expires. However, a maximum subsidy amount will continue to apply to individual apartments.
  • The required insulation value for front glazing or reverse glazing at monuments is reduced.

About the SVVE

The SVVE supports (mixed) VVEs, residential associations and residential cooperatives in making their building more sustainable. The subsidy consists of three parts: sustainability research, advice and measures, charging point advice and basic charging infrastructure.
