The handball foxes in Melsungen have to go on Sunday (2 p.m. / Sky). The Berliners had ten days without a game to prepare.

Coach Jaron Siewert (28): “That was an unusual amount and nice, it’s also a big risk. The loss of concentration is of course present after a game. Then you have to build up the suspense again, which of course is much easier in a three-day rhythm.”

Nevertheless, the foxes used their free time for fine-tuning. Siewert: “Our attack is good, our goal average quite passable, but we want to be even more flexible. I want to be able to move the ball better from defense to attack, so the boys should create more chances and not just rely on our one-on-one.”
