The 1st FC Nürnberg has to wait for the first competitive win this season. For Miroslav Klose, the air is getting thinner.

On the 3rd matchday of the 2nd Bundesliga, the 1st FC Nürnberg collected the third defeat. The Franks lost their guest appearance at Prussia Münster on Friday evening with 1: 2 (0: 2). After the surprising trophy, this is the next setback for the eleven of coach Miroslav Klose. The 2014 world champion has to worry about his job more than ever.

Oliver Batista Meier (32nd) and Marvin Schulz (43rd) shot Münster for the first win of the season – and tightened the situation at Klose Nuremberg, for which Rafael Lubach (74.) achieved the first seasonor. Finally, in addition to the false start in the league with two defeats in two games, the FCN had flown out in the first round of the DFB Cup at the regional league team FV Illertissen in penalty shooting (5: 6).

In the middle of the first round, the host pushed onto the lead, but Münsters Lars Lokotsch only hit the outside network (29). Three minutes later, Batista Meier rewarded the home team, Schulz increased before the break.

Klose reacted, changed twice at halftime. On the offensive, the guests were now more dangerous, Caspar Jander only scored the post with a long -range shot (66.). A little later, Lubach shortened. It wasn’t enough.

Second away game, second away defeat: The 1st FC Kaiserslautern is still weakening in strangers in the new season. The team of coach Torsten Lieberknecht was defeated by SV Elversberg after a late goal with 1: 2 (0: 1) and after three games only has three points on the account.

Luca Schnellbacher (43.) and Frederik Schmahl (90.+2) scored the goals for the team of coach Vincent Wagner. After the second home win of the season, Elversberg can first orientate himself up with six points. Richmond Tachie (79th, penalty after video evidence) had meanwhile compensated for the FCK.

The hosts got off to a better start. Schnellbacher (13th) aimed too high, then Tom Zimmerschied failed free -standing to goalkeeper Julian Krahl (14th). Lasse Günther also found his master (37th) in Krahl. Elversberg presented himself to playing enthusiasts, but the “red devils” struggled on the offensive. The break management of the Elversberger was therefore deserved. Schnellbacher met after a nice interaction with Bambasé Conté. The goal was preceded by a misunderstanding between Krahl and Maxwell Gyamfi.

The guests came into play a little better after the break. However, they only became dangerous after standard situations by captain Marlon Ritter (52nd, 55th). Overall, however, the Palatinate remained harmless, but then goalkeeper Nicolas Kristof, who met the substitute Faride Alidou on their face. Tachie safely converted the penalty. But Elversberg had a late answer.
