1. FC Magdeburg sign Malcolm Cacutalua from Erzgebirge Aue

Second division promoted 1. FC Magdeburg have signed central defender Malcolm Cacutalua from relegated Erzgebirge Aue. The club announced this on Friday, but did not provide any information on the contract period.

After the transfer of Daniel Elfadli in the presentation, the Magdeburg team are further strengthening their defense.

“In Malcolm we get a seasoned defender from the 2nd Bundesliga who will help us with his experience,” said head coach Christian Titz.

The 27-year-old from Troisdorf, who went through the youth department of Bayer Leverkusen, has made 115 second division appearances (six goals, two assists) for VfL Bochum, Arminia Bielefeld and Erzgebirge Aue.
