Third newcomer
1. FC Heidenheim continues to put together its squad for the coming season. As the club announced on Tuesday evening, winger Tim Köther is coming to FCH free of charge from Fortuna Düsseldorf, with whom he has signed a contract until 2025. The 21-year-old is the third signing for 2022/23 so far (to the transfers).
“Tim made an extremely positive impression on us with his consistently strong performances in the Regionalliga West, but also with his second division debut for Fortuna. He still has a lot of potential and is at a very young age. That’s why we trust him to make the leap into the second division with us,” said CEO Holger Sanwald.
So far, Köther has played one game for the Rhineland pros in which he recorded an assist at the SCP. But mostly he was used in the second team of Düsseldorf.
