The second-to-last chance to see Formula 1 drivers on the historic circuit in Zandvoort initially did not lead to overwhelming enthusiasm. Last Friday the stands were still fairly empty during free practice.

But for the qualification today and the race tomorrow, the organization counted on a sold -out house. That has now succeeded, the organization reports. Second -hand tickets can still be found online, for around 220 euros each.

“It’s great that we have a full house again,” says Jan Lammers, sporting director of the Dutch Grand Prix.
