The Supercup was won this year by the handball players of Volendam. Aalsmeer won 38-31 in the Bloemhof in Aalsmeer. A good result, because Aalsmeer won both the national title and the cup last season.
Volendam started the first official game of the season well, but Aalsmeer recovered and then took a lead, 8-6. Nevertheless, Volendam pulled the longest and triumphed in the lion’s den.
