In Hellersdorf, the dispute between a truck and a car driver got out of control. At the end, baseball bats and iron rods were drawn.

On Wednesday evening, a 40-year-old man parked his truck on the side of the Tangermünder Straße. When he and his passenger (39) wanted to get out, a car is said to have raced past them at very high speed. The truck driver then responded with an insulting gesture.

When the 32-year-old driver turned back, the truck driver insulted him in a xenophobic way. The dispute then escalated.

The driver of the car took an iron jack out of his trunk and tried to attack the truck driver. He was able to take the iron bar away from him and hit him in the head.

The truck passenger was injured by an unknown person with a kick in the head. When they tried to escape, the men from the truck were also followed by a 38-year-old stranger with a baseball bat.

After the scuffle, both the truck passenger and the car driver ended up in the hospital with lacerations to the head. Further investigations into the altercation are ongoing.
