The incident took place in the building zone of a railway line, the so -called Purple Line. According to the district office of the Dusit district, the cause is a jumped water pipe that led to the collapse of the road surface. The zinc hole has caused serious damage to the infrastructure, including fallen electricity piles, and important utilities.
Power failures, interruptions in the water supply and traffic chaos hold the surrounding neighborhoods in their grip. Emergency services work with power to limit the damage and to get the situation under control. Residents and commuters are urgently requested to avoid the area.
