Zelensky responded to an invitation to Sochi with words about Odessa and the sea

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky responded to the proposal of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to come “to Moscow, Sochi, St. Petersburg” and discuss bilateral relations with Vladimir Putin. According to UNIAN, Zelensky sees this as cynicism, since Moscow does not intend to discuss the issue of Donbass in this format. But he added that he was ready for a meeting with the Russian side.

“I’m ready. Why invite me to Sochi? What if I go skiing? Well, let’s meet in Odessa, swim in the sea. People do not understand the value of life! I’m talking about serious dialogue. The fact that we really have a lot of challenges, a lot of questions. Let’s not all questions, let’s just one. Let’s exchange,” he said.
