Zara is expanding its range to include a hair care line.
The chain, which belongs to the Spanish clothing group Inditex, has launched the ‘Zara Hair’ line. In collaboration with the British hairdresser Guido Palau, products for daily hair care have been created, Zara announced on Monday.
The six products in the line include a hairspray, a texturizing spray, a hair mousse and balm, a curl lotion and a heat protectant. Special scents included were created by French perfumer Jérôme Epinette, while a contrasting color palette of packaging is intended to underline the brand’s fashion origins.
“I come from the fashion industry and style is very important to me,” said Guido Palau. “That’s why we wanted to start the story of Zara’s entry into hair care with six products that can be used to create most hairstyles. Whether you want to achieve volume, hold, curl, texture or shine, these products are the pillars of a stylist’s kit.”
‘Zara Hair x Guido Palau’ is available in stores and on the brand’s online shop. The products are priced at 15.95 euros each.
In 2021, Zara brought one of its own cosmetic line onto the market, which was intended to help promote inclusion in the beauty segment with the help of make-up products. Followed last year Make-up products for children, including face painting stencil sets and a practice coloring book. The company’s other non-textile products include: laundry detergentwhich is intended to reduce the detachment of microfibers from textiles, as well as one Illustrated book in collaboration with the British magazine Wallpaper.
