Zalando will discontinue Zalon on October 1st. The Berlin online retailer informed the subscribers of the styling service by email on Wednesday.
It is still possible to order a Zalon box with assembled looks and to exchange items until September 30th. However, the return period of 100 days still applies after the closure. Users can still log into their accounts until November 10th, but the app will only be active until September 14th.
New service for Zalando Plus
The mod retailer is currently working on a personal shopping service for members of its premium offer ‘Zalando Plus’, according to the email. Along with this offer, members would also get free shipping, faster responses from customer service, and earlier access to new products.
Zalando launched Zalon in May 2015 and has repeatedly brought the styling service to physical retail with pop-up areas.
