The Berlin online retailer Zalando SE appoints Max Bankewitz to the role of General Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH).
His predecessor Christoph Lütke Schelhowe announced his appointment on Tuesday on the career network Linkedin, taking over the position of Vice President Finance for the Consumer Business. Lütke Schelhowe, who has been active in the company for more than twelve years, is giving up his previous area of responsibility after around two and a half years.
Bankewitz also comes from within his own ranks. According to his own information on Linkedin, he has worked in various positions in the company for more than seven years, most recently as Director Transactions Experiences. Before his time at Zalando, he also worked for the management consultancy Roland Berger and the insurance company Allianz, among others.
