Yves Lampaert wins time trial Tour of Belgium
Yves Lampaert (Quick-Step – Alpha Vinyl) has won the third stage of the Baloise Belgium Tour (2.Pro). In an individual time trial of 11.8 kilometers between Scherpenheuvel and Averbode, the Belgian champion was seven seconds faster than the Danish blue jersey wearer Mads Pedersen, the Dutchman Daan Hoole was third in ten seconds.
A 172.2 kilometer long Ardennes stage with start and finish in Durbuy is scheduled for Saturday. The 91st Tour of Belgium ends on Sunday with a flat stage from Gingelgom to Beringen.
