The Ypres swimming pool closed on Monday afternoon due to a technical problem. “There is a leak in the flow system that brings the swimming pool water up to temperature,” says sports councilor Peter De Groote. “This keeps the water cold and makes it unpleasant to swim.”
A specialized company is now looking for a solution to the problem. “The swimming pool will probably remain closed until at least tomorrow afternoon,” says De Groote. “If we get the pool water up to temperature again by then, the pool can open again.”
