Ypres Menenstraat will not be car-free
The Menenstraat is the main approach road to the Grote Markt, from under the Menin Gate. Last year a pilot project was started, in which the street was only closed on Sundays. After an evaluation meeting with the local traders, it was now decided to close Menenstraat only on Sunday afternoon from 1 April to 1 November.
