“Not well thought out, I would say clumsy,” the public prosecutor said about a failed robbery on a care farm in the municipality of Tynaarlo in August 2023. He demanded a 100 -hour community service to two of the people of 21 and 20 years old and three months of presetence.
The oldest still had an apple to peel with the (then) 56-year-old owner. As a 17-year-old he worked for him on the care farm. He would then have been assaulted by his employer and left in a hurry. Moreover, the work he had done was not paid, the suspect said.
He did not report the sexual abuse. As a teenager he didn’t dare. At home he only told that he had not been paid. His father tried to collect the money without success. The Assenaar finally decided to solve it himself. The fellow suspect wanted to lend a hand.
Masked the young men invaded the house. That mask did not exactly help. The resident immediately recognized his former employee. “That turned out not to be so smart,” the suspect said about this. The resident’s partner approached the noise. He saw that his friend was being pushed against the wall.

Both suspects still look very youthful according to the prosecutor. The men are accompanied on all sides. They are still insufficiently ripe to be punished as adults, says the public prosecutor. That opinion is emphasized by the defense. “The cladness of their performance splashed,” said the lawyer.
