The remaining final round of the Youth League was drawn in Nyon on Friday. The youngsters of FC Bayern welcomes Inter Milan in the round of 16, TSG Hoffenheim plays at home against Manchester City’s top talents. VfB Stuttgart travels to Portugal to Sporting Lisbon.
The two remaining Austrian representatives also have home rights: FC Salzburg has to compete against Atlético Madrid, Sturm Graz is dealing with defending champion Olympiakos Piraeus. In the event of success, the Austrian clubs would meet in the quarter -finals.
German duels can exist in the round of the last four at the earliest. In the quarter -finals, Bavaria would meet the winner of the Trabzonspor duel against Atalanta Bergamo, the TSG would have to go to Real Madrid or Az Alkmaar. VfB would have to record it in Stuttgart with Aston Villa or FC Barcelona. In the semifinals, the Swabians could then meet the Hoffenheimers that the Munich team would get a German opponent in the final at the earliest.
The duels of the final round of the Youth League are only played in a single game, the round of 16 will increase on March 4 and 5. The round of the last eight follows on April 1 and 2. The Final Four then rises in Nyon on April 25th and 28th as usual.
