For the second time in the last 16
Borussia Dortmund’s youngsters caught a tough draw in the round of 16 of the UEFA Youth League. As the last remaining German participant in the competition, BVB meets Manchester United abroad. The round of 16 will be played in just one duel and will take place on March 1st or 2nd.
As second in the group stage, BVB had to qualify for the round of 16 against a club from the so-called “Meisterweg”. In the intermediate round, the black and yellow won 5:3 against FC Empoli. Borussia is in the last 16 for the second time since the 2016/17 season. At that time, BVB lost 4-1 to FC Barcelona.

In the quarter-finals, BVB would face the winner of the Real Madrid vs. Atlético Madrid pairing. The round of eight takes place on March 15th and 16th, Dortmund would have a home game.
