Amsterdam – The Dutch Data Protection Authority (AP) is on the bell. Those who do not want his or her Instagram or Facebook messages to end up in an AI model of parent company Meta will have to object before 27 May. “You have ever posted something on Instagram or Facebook and that data will soon be in that AI model. Without knowing exactly what happens with that,” warns AP vice-president Monique Verdier.
