Young rider dies after tragic accident at a pony tournament in Sint-Lenaarts: "We’re going to miss you, girl"

During the pony tournament of the Antwerp LRV Sint-Lenaarts on Sunday, August 10, young rider Jules of the Ponyclub LRV Lille was seriously injured after a fall on the spring course. Five days later, on Friday, August 15, the girl died of her injuries in the hospital. “What should have become a great day of competition, ended in a tragedy due to a fatal accident. We are deeply touched and silent in sorrow,” says LRV Lille.
