A dirt bike driver crashed into a motorcycle police officer in Breda on Sunday afternoon. The officer went to the Hoge Vucht district after reports of nuisance due to reckless driving by young people on dirt bikes and motor scooters.
The motorcyclist of the traffic police soon came into view of a boy on a dirt bike. When he saw the officer, the boy immediately drove into him. The boy ignored the stop sign and then drove into the neighborhood at high speed. He paid little attention to the fact that children were playing in the street because of the nice weather.
Suddenly the motorcyclist of the traffic police saw the boy appear again along the canal at the Markkanaal-Zuid. He again drove into the officer and tried to escape but failed. He then abandoned his dirt bike and ran into the woods.
The dirt bike has been seized. Police are trying to determine who the dirt bike driver was.
