A young football goalkeeper was declared in Spain two days after a collision with an opponent for brain dead.
The family of the 19 -year -old Raúl Ramírez had decided to donate his organs to help other people in need, the Football Association of the Cantabria (RFCF) said.
According to the announcement, three mourning days were proclaimed for the entire region in northern Spain.
Ramírez stood in the goal of the Spanish fifth team Club Deportivo Colindres. The tragic collision occurred on Saturday in the game of his club at SD Revilla. According to the agreed media reports, none of the parties involved was to blame.
