A young girl who walked on a railway crossing in Vught on Sunday evening has escaped a serious accident just in time. The girl ran her bike on the track on Molenstraat, when the level crossing bubbles went off. She dropped her bike and ran from the track. The driver could not prevent a collision with the bike.
According to a photographer on the spot it is a girl of about five years old. There was family in the neighborhood, but it is unclear whether they were there at the time of the accident. It is also not clear why the girl ran on the track.
Train traffic has been temporarily stopped. Because it is a small bike, the damage to the train seems limited. In the meantime the trains run there again.
