Young Ajax loses to Willem II after a lead

After a strong start and a justified lead, Young Ajax lost 1-2 to Willem II. Sontje Hansen scored for the team from Amsterdam halfway through the first half at De Toekomst sports park, but the Tilburg team recovered after the break.

In the first half, Young Ajax dominated and John Heitinga’s team seemed to be heading for a simple win. Tilburg coach Kevin Hofland responded by changing striker Jizz Hornkamp after half an hour. The attacker from De Rijp then ran furiously to the dressing room and slammed a door behind him.
