Jong Ajax has booked a big win over NAC Breda in the first division tonight. After just over half an hour of play, it was already 0-4 in Brabant. The score stuck at 2-6. Young AZ lost 2-0 in Kerkrade.
Conceicao and Lucca had a basic place at the Amsterdam reserves. Both players from the A-selection managed to score in Breda. That also applied to Warmerdam, Van Axel Dongen, Baas and Regeer. The highest ranked North Holland team in the first division, Young AZ, suffered its second defeat in four days when visiting Roda JC. Wilmer Olofsson made his debut in professional football at the very young Jong AZ. The central defender started in the base. In the second half, four more players got their first playing minutes as a professional football player: for Anthony Smits, Nelson Egah, Ilias Splinter and Jereno van Gom it was also an evening to remember.
It was not a dream debut for all newcomers, because Young AZ bit the dust again, just like Friday against Heracles Almelo (2-0). In the 43rd minute, Postema put Roda 1-0 up. Substitute Limbombe decided the game in the 89th minute. Due to the defeat, Jong AZ drops to tenth place.
