Young Ajax gives Heracles a hefty defeat, also a win for Jong AZ against FC Dordrecht

The Ajax promise team has given Heracles Almelo a bad evening. It was no less than 4-0 at a well-filled sports park De Toekomst. Jong AZ also won tonight. The Alkmaar talents were 3-1 too strong for FC Dordrecht.

Heracles, who had been relegated from the Eredivisie, did not lose a single league match, but in Amsterdam it soon became apparent that there was no honor to be gained. It took until the 45th minute before Lorenzo Lucca opened the scoring with the necessary fortune.

The striker hired from Pisa doubled the score in the 57th minute with a shot into the short corner. After excellent preparatory work by substitute Amourricho Van Axel Dongen, Donny Warmerdam decided the game fifteen minutes before the end. To sprinkle some extra salt in the wounds, Warmerdam made another one afterwards.

Young Ajax thus recovered from the 4-0 defeat it suffered at ADO Den Haag last Sunday. The team of coach John Heitinga climbs to tenth place in the ranking.

Ajax setup: De Graaff; Regeer, Warmerdam (Delgado/85), Pierie, Baas (Jermoumi/66); Fitz-Jim, Rasmussen, Hlynsson; Conceicao (Van Axel Dongen/46), Lucca (Aertssen/64) and Hansen (Sarfo/78)

Young AZ still trailed 0-1 against FC Dordrecht in Wijdewormer, but did not get off the leg. The team of coach Maarten Martens repaired the damage immediately after the break and put a 3-1 final score on the board.

Samuele Longo opened the scoring in the 5th minute. In the 51st minute, Iman Griffith appeared to tie the score, but his effort was taken off the line. A minute later, Damienson Reverson struck out effectively. Misha Engel then headed Jong AZ to a lead, after which Soulyman Allouch made the 3-1 from a counter.

Young AZ has a strong start to the season. The team is in third place with twelve points from five games. The away game against ADO Den Haag is scheduled for next Friday.

Line-up Young AZ: Westerveld; Lathouwers (Pynadath/46), Postma, Stam, Engel; Twisk, Griffith, Schouten (Dekkers/39); Kewal (Addai/59), Reverson (Koster/80) and Allouch (Kwakman/83)
