Young Ajax collects four goals in Maastricht, Young AZ gives away a point in the final phase

A big beating for Young Ajax and the Alkmaar promises lost due to a late goal. The team from Amsterdam still scored, but lost 4-1 at MVV in Maastricht. AZ could stop Willem II for a long time, in the end a late goal by Pol Llonch was enough for the Tilburg team: 1-0.

Jong AZ traveled to Tilburg and took on the relegated Willem II. The promotion candidate was eagerly looking for a goal from the first minute. Goalkeeper Sem Westerveld proved to be an obstacle several times. Also with a nice opportunity for former youth player of AZ, Nick Doodeman. The Alkmaar promises only got a big chance after half an hour. After an error of judgment in the defense of the Tilburgers, Damienus Reverson went for the goal. It turned out to be the final score. With that, Jong AZ lost for the second time in a row in the first division. The reserves had lost 3-2 to PEC Zwolle on Monday evening.

Young Ajax had a painful evening in Maastricht against MVV. The first big chance of the game was immediately hit for the home team.
